Perch and Gallery Hop

Situated on a rooftop at the edge of Forsyth Park, Perch offers an amazing selection of mixed drinks as well as small bites and appetizers. The view of the sun setting behind the trees is something everyone should take advantage of at least once. Local artists in Savannah offer a variety of gallery experiences from sketchbook shows, to fibers installations to interpretive concepts.

SCAD Fashion Show 2014

The annual SCAD Fashion Show represents the culmination of months of hard work, sleepless nights and endless yards of fabric for fashion students in Savannah. Hosted at the SCAD Museum of Art for the first time ever, the show featured the senior collections of students chosen by a jury of professors as well as experts from the fashion industry. Models were casted and trained by the notoriously fabulous J. Alexander, more widely known as Miss J from America's Next Top Model. Andrè Leon Talley of Vogue (flaunting a Pharrell inspired hat) and designer Stephen Burrows were also in attendance. Avant-garde and outlandish ensembles lined every row of every hallway inside the museum. This years senior collections far surpassed all expectations, proving once again that SCAD is progressively moving foreword as the future voice of influential style.

Hello Mermaids!

To start I should say that this blog has been a long time coming. Between finishing my senior classes and living my life it has seemed impossible to start something so personal. Today seemed like as good a day as any to dive in (pun intended). I have absolutely no idea what the next few months of my life will look like but hopefully I'll be documenting the whole ordeal right here. More posts to come in the near future....
